Benetton Treviso get the better of Zebre

Tommaso Allan scored 18 points as Benetton Treviso beat fellow Italian side Zebre 23-12 to move off the bottom of Guinness Pro12 and above their opponents.

The fly-half kicked three penalties before adding a try and two conversions, with wing Luca Sperandio also touching down at Stadio Monigo.

Zebre led by a point at the break following Dries van Schalkwyk's converted try but they failed to add to their score until South African Kayle van Zyl went over in the closing stages.
