Blues cruise to victory
The Blues put in a stylish performance at Eden Park on Saturday to claim a convincing 31-17 win over the NSW Waratahs in the Super 15.
Props John Afoa and Tevita Mailau scored the first tries for the home side before centre Jared Payne, wing Rene Ranger and half-back Alby Mathewson also crossed the line.
The Waratahs responded in the second half with scores from Drew Mitchell and Ryan Cross, to add to Daniel Halengahu's first-half try, but the damage had already been done.
