Brunel rings the changes

Italy coach Jacques Brunel has made seven changes for Saturday's RBS 6 Nations clash with Wales at the Millennium Stadium.

Benetton Treviso's Kristopher Burton returns to the fly-half position in place of Tobias Botes, who started in the 42-10 defeat to Ireland in Dublin last time out.

Fabio Semenzato comes in at scrum-half in place of Edoardo Gori while Gonzalo Canale replaces Tommaso Benvenuti at outside centre.

Mirco Bergamasco will start for the first time in this year's tournament having recovered from a shoulder injury, taking Giovambattista Venditti's spot on the left wing.

Veteran prop Andrea Lo Cicero will earn his 94th cap in Cardiff, taking over from Michele Rizzo.

Cornelius Van Zyl replaces Marco Bortolami in the second row, while Simone Favaro comes in for Roberto Barbieri at number 7.

The Azzurri go into the encounter on the back of three straight defeats and take on Wales, who have a perfect record in this year's competition.
