Cueto: England progressing well
Mark Cueto feels England are shaping up well ahead of the World Cup and must travel to New Zealand believing they can win the tournament.
Martin Johnson's side were crowned RBS 6 Nations champions last month, although their hopes of completing a Grand Slam were ended by Ireland in a 24-8 defeat in Dublin.
"We've got to go there to win it," Cueto said. "You don't go into any competition thinking you want to finish second or third. You go wanting to win and obviously we know how difficult that will be."
He added: "I played in a World Cup final in 2007 and got beaten, but prior to that the boys won it in 2003 so it would be nice to get there again and give ourselves the chance.
"It will be massively difficult in New Zealand - we know how strong all the southern hemisphere teams are at the moment.
"The boys in the northern hemisphere are going well as well, so it's going to be exciting."
