Curtis Browning shines as Queensland Reds see off Sunwolves

Curtis Browning scored two tries as the Queensland Reds held on for a 35-25 Super Rugby win against Sunwolves in Brisbane.

Ayumu Goromaru opened the scoring with a penalty and Browning extended the Reds' lead with a close-range score, only for a Derek Carpenter try and conversion from Tusi Pisi to bring Sunwolves back into the game.

Queensland pulled clear again when captain James Slipper scored, but two penalties to Pisi made it 17-13 at half-time.

Browning scored again early in the second half before Carpenter's second score and a diving try from Liaki Moli tied the game at 25-25.

A first try in three years from Cadeyrn Neville put the home side back in front, and a successful conversion and later penalty from Jake McIntyre secured victory for the Reds.
