Nineteen second half points helped Dalriada overcome Dromore High.

For the first 10 minutes each team was sizing the other up but eventually the visitors took the lead after 15 minutes. After a number of phases prop forward William Allen linked with winger Peter Wright and the NI sprinter dashed in at the left hand corner.

Five minutes later a high tackle allowed visiting hooker James McCormick to kick a penalty.

Dromore kept trying to go forward but the Dalriada defence held out. However, on a rare visit to the '22' they were awarded a penalty and out-half Reuben Cobb reduced the arrears.

Dalriada were quick to take advantage of the second half drop-out when second row forward Nathan Phillipson gathered and linked with McCormick who brought play well into opposition territory. He was tackled and Fallows was allowed to show his speed to run in. The referee gave the try but on a closer look the Dalriada touch judge noticed Fallows' foot had touched the line.

Following a line-out the ball was quickly linked to centre Luke Pollock who cut through to run in from 25 metres out for McCormick to goal.

The home team regrouped and forwards Ben Heath, Peter O'Connor and Aaron Lyttle showed up well before Lyttle finished off a move.

The gap was further reduced with a fantastic Cobb penalty from close to halfway and Dromore were back in the contest at 15-11.

A McCormick break resulted in Fallows getting on the scoresheet and the hooker added the points, then McCormick crashed over with a couple of defenders hanging on.
