Dragons fixture switch

Newport Gwent Dragons' Heineken Cup clash against Wasps on Sunday has been switched to Cardiff City Stadium.

The Pool Six clash had been scheduled for Rodney Parade in Newport, but the pitch failed an inspection carried out by Welsh Rugby Union official Dai Davies and Dragons representatives.

"It was deemed due to current adverse weather conditions that the pitch would not be in a safe enough condition for the match to go ahead as scheduled," said European Rugby Cup, in a statement.

The game will still kick off at 1pm, with the Dragons targeting a first win of their Heineken campaign this season, while Wasps currently lie second in the group behind reigning European champions Toulouse.
