Du Preez back for Bulls

Fourie du Preez has been restored to the Bulls' starting XV for this week's Super 15 encounter against the Western Force in Perth.

The inclusion of the the South Africa scrum-half, benched for the 39-30 loss to the Reds, is one of two personnel changes made by Frans Ludeke, while the coach has also made one positional switch to make room at number nine.

Du Preez effectively comes in for Gerhard van den Heever, with Francois Hougaard moving to the wing.

The only other change comes among the loose forwards, where Deon Stegmann is in for Derick Kuun.

Jaco Pretorius, who was pencilled in to play at centre, failed a fitness test on his neck with Stephan Dippenaar remaining in the team at centre.

Francois Brummer also resumes duties on the bench, where Flip van der Merwe and Jaco van der Westhuyzen return.

The defending champions have endured a torrid two weeks with back-to-back losses coming at the hands of the Crusaders and Reds respectively.

Ludeke told "We're far beyond the point that this is a now-or-never moment.

"We know that we have enough class in this team and if we make minor adjustments, we are not far away from hitting form and creating that momentum that we need."
