England set for South Africa clash

England will take on the host nation in the quarter-finals of the South Africa Sevens in George after finishing second in their pool.

A 20-7 defeat to New Zealand meant they finished behind the All Blacks in Pool C, having earlier recorded victories over Kenya and Russia.

The All Blacks led 10-0 at half-time but England came back into contention thanks to Dan Norton's converted try. However, late tries from DJ Forbes and Jackson Ormond took the match beyond England.

Norton had earlier scored two tries in a 21-5 success against Kenya, with England then beating Russia 19-5.
