Ambitious Glasgow are aiming for the biggest prize, insists Johnson

Glasgow centre Sam Johnson insists they are aiming to win the European Champions Cup this season.

Warriors have made a scintillating start under the leadership of Dave Rennie and have won all six of their opening Guinness PRO14 games, and they travel to Exeter tomorrow for their biggest challenge yet.

The new coaching staff made it abundantly clear before the start of the season that nothing but winning the PRO14 would be a success, and Johnson says they are approaching Europe with the same mindset.

"You've got to be confident, and you want to win it," he said.

"We play this game to win trophies, and it's a first step this weekend towards that.

"Exeter were the Premiership champions last season and it will be a real test, we just have to go out there all guns blazing and blow them off the park."
