Euro glory in Ulster grasp: Stockdale

By Michael Sadlier

Star winger Jacob Stockdale wants Ulster to raise the bar on Sunday and seize their chance of reaching the European Champions Cup quarter-finals for the first time since 2014.

Les Kiss' side, who play Wasps in their final pool game and lead Pool One by a point over La Rochelle, need a bonus point win to guarantee finishing top of the group and give themselves a home quarter-final.

"It's a massive game for me and for us as a team," said the 21-year-old try machine, who could also play his first Six Nations game next month.

"There's added pressure because of the game it is, but it's a pressure that I, and we as a team, can handle."

A regulation win will also be enough for Ulster to qualify, though then as a probable best runner-up without the chance of a home quarter-final.
