Falcons pair handed one-week bans
Newcastle duo James Hall and Rob Vickers have each been handed one-week bans for incidents during the Falcons' Aviva Premiership encounter with Harlequins on March 2.
At a Rugby Football Union disciplinary hearing in Durham, Hall pleaded guilty to the charge of kicking an opponent contrary to law 10(4)(c), while Vickers also offered a guilty plea to the charge of striking an opponent contrary to law 10(4)(a).
Both players will miss Friday's Aviva Premiership match at Worcester but be free to play again from March 28, meaning they can return to face Sale two days later. The case against fellow Newcastle player Tai Tu'ifua, who was cited for a dangerous tackle in the Harlequins match, was dismissed.
