Force fight back to claim win

David Smith scored two brilliant late tries as the Western Force staged a wonderful second-half fightback to beat the Highlanders 21-14 in Carisbrook.

The Force trailed 14-3 at half-time but dominated after the break as the home side wilted.

It was their second consecutive home loss and their chances of making the play-offs are now over.

David Smith, James Stannard, David Pocock, Matt Hodgson and Nathan Sharpe were at the forefront of a rousing Force display.

Kurt Coleman starred as the Stormers hammered the Melbourne Rebels 40-3 at AAMI Park.

Coleman scored a try and added three penalties and two conversions as the South Africans made it two wins from two on their tour Down Under.
