Hala'ufia banned

London Irish back-rower Chris Hala'ufia has been handed a four-week suspension after being found guilty of a tip tackle.

Hala'ufia was punished following a Rugby Football Union disciplinary hearing for his challenge on Sale flanker David Seymour during Friday night's Aviva Premiership match at the AJ Bell Stadium.

Former Tonga international Hala'ufia, 35, is now banned until January 19, meaning he will sit out the league matches against Gloucester and Worcester, as well as the Amlin Challenge Cup clashes against Lusitanos XV and I Cavalieri Prato.
