Tigers heading for Ravenhill as Ulster unveil pre-season line-up

Ulster’s first home game of the new campaign will be a rematch against the Leicester Tigers.

The pre-season clash at Ravenhill with the Aviva Premiership finalists will evoke memories of Ulster’s magnificent 41-7 win over the Tigers in the Heineken Cup back in January.

Leicester will come to Belfast on Saturday, August 18 (2.30pm kick-off) in the first of Ulster’s three-match pre-season programme, under new coach Mark Anscombe.

Prior to the visit of Leicester Anscombe will put his squad through a high-intensity programme in a five-day training camp in the south of France.

A meeting with French Top 14 side Bayonne, on Thursday, August 9, will form part of that trip.

Ulster’s final pre-season game will be against the Newcastle Falcons on Friday, August 24, with a 7.30pm kick-off, with the RaboDirect Pro12 set to kick-off the following weekend.
