Leinster move up to second

First-half tries from Sean O'Brien and Cian Healy set Leinster on their way to a 20-8 victory against Aironi at the Stadio Luigi Zaffanella in the Magners League.

The visitors scored all their points in a one-sided first half, with Fergus McFadden converting both scores and kicking two penalties.

The Italians, who trailed by 17 points at the break, showed plenty of fighting spirit to reduce the deficit in the second half, South African flanker Gareth Krause crossing for a try, but Leinster always looked comfortable against the league's bottom side.

The win moved Leinster two points ahead of Ulster and into second place in the table.
