Leinster too strong for Metro

Stylish Leinster outscored Racing Metro by five tries to one as they hit the ground running with a 38-22 win in their Heineken Cup Pool Two opener.

Fergus McFadden delighted the raucous RDS crowd with a last-minute try, putting the seal on a deserved victory for Joe Schmidt's men.

Tries from man-of-the-match Sean O'Brien and Rob Kearney gave the hosts a 21-6 interval lead before adding a third through Richard Strauss. Albert Vulivuli hit back for the Top 14 leaders, adding to Jerome Fillol and Francois Steyn's kicking haul, but further tries from Jamie Heaslip and McFadden chalked up the bonus point.
