Morgan to take Harlequins role

Harlequins have named David Morgan as their chairman with the appointment taking effect from September 1.

Morgan has been a non-executive board member of the club since 2010 and has been acting chief executive during the last two months.

"It is a tremendous honour for me to become chairman of Harlequins, a club with which I have had an involvement for over 35 years," said Morgan. "I'm looking forward very much to playing my part in the next chapter of our great club."
