New Bath deal for Barkley
England international Olly Barkley has signed a two-year contract extension with Aviva Premiership club Bath.
The 29-year-old centre is currently in his second spell at the Recreation Ground following a short stint with their west country rivals Gloucester.
Bath have also announced a new two-year deal for full-back Jack Cuthbert, with forwards coach Martin Haag adding another year to his contract.
Bath head coach Steve Meehan said: "We are very happy that both Olly and Jack are staying with us for a further two years.
"Olly is an established favourite at The Rec and has been playing some great rugby for us over recent seasons.
"Likewise, Jack has been in great form, and we have seen him make a continued improvement as the season has gone on. His hard work is paying off, and this hasn't gone unnoticed."
On Haag's deal, Bath chief executive Nick Blofeld added: "We have seen some significant improvements and been delighted with the forwards' play recently, and so it was a simple decision to extend Martin's contract.
"His contract now brings him in line with the other coaches, and we are very pleased that he has agreed to stay with us."
