New deal for Goode

Ospreys second row James Goode has signed a new two-year contract with the Welsh region.

Goode, 28, originally arrived at the Ospreys on a short-term trial basis after stints with Cardiff Blues and Manawatu in the Air New Zealand Cup.

"I really wanted to stay at the Ospreys, and for them to offer me this new longer deal is great news," said Goode, who has made eight appearances for the region this season.

"I must have made a good impression to be rewarded with the new contract, the next target is to get more game time over the next few years."
