Sale (6) v Bath (4)

Sale will field a reshuffled back division as they look to rediscover winning ways following last weekend's defeat at Northampton. Centre Jonny Leota returns after recovering from a facial injury, while scrum-half Dwayne Peel is also back and Phil Mackenzie starts on the wing. Rob Miller moves from wing to full-back and Mark Cueto from centre to wing.

Bath boss Gary Gold hands first starts of the season to full-back Ollie Devoto, hooker Ross Batty and lock Will Spencer as the west country club target a victory that would lift them into second spot in the Premiership. Wing Tom Biggs, meanwhile, replaces Matt Banahan in a team captained by Stuart Hooper. Banahan, Anthony Watson, Rob Webber, Dave Attwood and Dominic Day are all unavailable due to injury.

Last season: Sale 14 Bath 13, Bath 31 Sale 10

Top try scorers: Mark Cueto (Sale) 3; Jonathan Joseph & Guy Mercer (Bath) 2

Top point scorers: Danny Cipriani (Sale) 23; George Ford (Bath) 45.
