Queen's and Derry ring changes ahead of clash

Uslter Senior League

Most AIL 2 teams will be having a fortnight's break, but not Queen's and City of Derry. They meet in the Ulster Senior League tomorrow afternoon and are then involved in the First Trust Senior Cup semi-finals next Saturday when the students entertain Banbridge and Derry welcome Ballynahinch.

As a result, both teams are rotating their squads and Derry make 10 changes from last week-end's 28-28 draw at Bective.

Cathal Cregan and Paul McFeely come into the front row and David Houston returns.

In the back row, Jonny Lyons replaces the injured Stephen Ferguson. At half-back, Jack Caithness and Neil Burns play for Andrew Semple and Richard McCarter. Ryan Campbell comes on to the wing with a new centre partnership of Adam Parke and Adam Bratton, while William McCleery is back after injury at full-back.

The home team, after that disastrous visit to Galwegians on Saturday, are considering the return of both Ben Howard and Marc Campbell, who has not played so far this season.

Half-backs Justin Rea and Conor Spence have been on the bench for the past few weeks and will play, as will all the other subs.

Queen's and City of Derry have lost only once in the USL, so are well in the title chase.
