Wales centre Jamie Roberts expects to make his comeback from wrist surgery in December.
Roberts went under the knife in July to correct an injury that he first sustained during the Lions tour to South Africa last year. Initial scans failed to uncover the extent of the damage but the Cardiff Blues back insists his rehabilitation is on track.
"I'll hopefully be back playing between mid to late December," he said. "I'm counting down the days. I'm at the halfway stage now. It was in a cast for six weeks and had a splint for a month."
He added: "Now it's juts a case of strengthening my wrist and getting the range of motion back.
"It's feeling good but it's a frustrating time because the Blues are going well in the Heineken Cup and Wales are about to play the autumn internationals."
