Saracens players take football course

Several Saracens players, including fly-half Charlie Hodgson and centre Adam Powell, are preparing for life after rugby by taking a football coaching qualification course.

Twelve players with the Aviva Premiership club - including hooker Jamie George, scrum-half Ben Spencer and several Academy prospects - have signed up to take the Level One Award in Coaching Football which is being delivered by the Hertfordshire FA.

Saracens and England Under-20 hooker George said: "Coaching football, or any other qualification for that matter, is a wonderful way for us to be challenged and grow and we are grateful to Hertfordshire FA for running what looks like a great course."
