Savea salvages last-gasp win for Hurricanes

Ardie Savea's last-gasp try edged the Hurricanes past the Highlanders 27-20 in Friday's Super Rugby clash in Wellington.

The openside flanker claimed his second score of the match to deny the visitors a draw, after Beauden Barrett's late penalty miss had the Hurricanes fearing they had blown their chance of victory.

Lima Sopoaga earlier converted his own try for the Highlanders, also adding the extras to Dan Lienert-Brown's score and a penalty goal, while Brad Shields crossed for the Hurricanes.
