Banbridge Academy face a daunting quarter-final trip to Methody after beating Cambridge House.

Cambridge House took the lead with a penalty from out-half Tim Small which was cancelled out by Aaron Kennedy.

Just before half-time Glenn Rowan cut through to score for Kennedy to convert and give Banbridge a 10-3 lead at the interval.

Banbridge out-half Mark Stevenson controlled and kicked accurately while flanker Davy McKeown produced an outstanding display.

After the break Kennedy added a second penalty before continuous pressure led to an overlap and winger Chris Watt scored to make it 18-3.

Banbridge kept the upper hand and the Ballymena side found it very difficult to make headway.

More forward pressure saw hooker Jordan Buchanan score for Kennedy to goal before himself adding the final try.
