O'Connor puts boot in as Malone rout Queen's
Division 2A leaders Malone exacted their revenge on Queen's University in fairly emphatic fashion by running out 49-7 winners at the Dub.
Malone's only defeat of the season so far, had been in the corresponding Ulster derby fixture in November, so Paddy Armstrong's squad were in no mood to slip-up again as they ran in seven tries for their sixth bonus point win from 11 games.
Mark O'Connor led the scoring with 14 points from all seven conversions while, not far behind him, were Ulster Academy prop Peter Cooper and winger Andy Bryans who both managed to cross the students' line twice.
Also in 2A, Armagh lost 17-10 at second-placed Highfield, though their losing bonus point keeps them in fourth.
The only game in 2B, predictably, resulted in Rainey Old Boys tanking bottom side City of Derry 71-0 which kept John Andrews's side in second and seven points back from leaders Old Crescent.
The match between Dungannon and Belfast Harlequins was postponed due to an unplayable surface at Stevenson Park.
In 2C, Bangor managed a hugely valuable 19-5 win in their Ulster derby with Omagh which saw them rise to fourth.
