There could be an all-Belfast final in the Danske Bank Schools' Cup after defending champions Campbell College and this year's favourites Methodist College were kept apart in the semi-final draw.

Campbell will take on Royal School Armagh in a repeat of last year's final while Methody will play Wallace High School.

There were comfortable wins for the two Belfast schools in the morning's quarter-finals while Wallace saw off Rainey Endowed and Armagh edged Ballymena Academy.

Methodist College 29-14 RBAI

Campbell College 38-22 Enniskillen Royal

Rainey Endowed 12-36 Wallace High School

Ballymena Academy 10-14 Royal School Armagh

Feature game: Methodist College 29-14 RBAI

Favourites Methody cruised through to the final four as they roared back from an early set-back to earn the win over their old rivals.

Bradley McNamara had gone over for an early converted try to give RBAI the lead after good work from Daniel Eakin but Methody soon got on the attack and Callum Davison reduced the arrears before Ethan McElroy's penalty made it 8-7 to the hosts.

Methody's advantage was extended when Daniel Humphreys eventually touched down after good work from the line-out for McElroy to this time convert and make it 15-7 at half-time.

RBAI's big chance for a second try was held up on the stroke of half-time as Davison somehow denied Simon Jackson just as the Inst wing looked to touch down.

Methody punished that missed opportunity after the restart when Tom O'Doherty went over after a strong run by opposite wing Chris Larmour, good work by the Inst defence delaying rather than denying the score.

Angus Adair pulled a try back for the visitors, Robin McIlveen adding extras to make it 22-14 but Thomas Armstrong ran in a late try for Methody, McElroy completing the scores.
