Ulster Number 8, Roger Wilson, has been called into the Ireland training squad ahead of the game against England at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday 1st March.

Wilson won his only international cap, against Japan, in 2005 and this year has represented the Barbarians and played for a World XV, against South Africa, in Cape Town.

Munster’s Billy Holland has also been added to the 36 man panel.

Robbie Diack is still suffering from a back injury and hasn’t been considered.

Ireland have won their first two games in the RBS 6 Nations, against Italy and France, and face an England side who are also undefeated in the Championship.
