We have nothing to lose

By Robert Jones

Ireland's players won't be indulging in any wild celebrations if they beat Scotland at Murrayfield today.

Victory may, however, be enough to land Joe Schmidt's men a second successive Six Nations title - and then they would have plenty to celebrate.

Should they prevail today, it will be out of the showers and around the nearest televison, to see if France can see off England at Twickenham in the last game of this season's championship.

Various permutations abound - and any one of four countries can still take the title - but, realistically, it looks to between Ireland and England.

Rory Best, though, says beating the Scots is all that really matters.

"We have to rectify the poor performance against Wales last week," said the Ulster hooker. "We've had to shake ourselves down and prepare now for Scotland; I think we've been able to do that."
