Trio back for Edinburgh

Edinburgh have made three changes to the starting XV for Sunday's Heineken Cup Pool One clash with Castres at Murrayfield.

After the 21-16 loss at Castres last weekend, Edinburgh coach Rob Moffat has recalled Tim Visser on the wing, Stuart McInally at number eight and Craig Hamilton at second row, with Scotland centre Nick De Luca named on the bench as he looks to make a first appearance of the season following a groin injury.

Jim Thompson drops to the bench, where he is joined by Simon Webster, while Ross Rennie and Fraser McKenzie fall out of the match-day squad.

Having suffered three losses in three European games this season, Edinburgh are seeking to restore some pride in their campaign.

Moffat said: "We haven't been far away in any of our European matches to date, but our ambitions are much higher than picking up losing bonus points.

"We've got a good record at home in the Heineken Cup over the last couple of years, and we really want to add another win to that sequence.

"It's vital for us and the support that we prove we can win at this level and give ourselves a boost ahead of a massive couple of weeks."

Edinburgh have won four of the last five Heineken Cup matches staged at Murrayfield, the positive run beginning with a bonus-point 32-14 win over Castres in January 2009.
