Trio sign new Saints deals

Northampton have agreed contract extensions with prop Tom Mercey, wing Anders Mogensen and hooker Ross McMillan.

Mercey, 24, is the only one with first-team experience, having made 38 appearances, including the Heineken Cup final, since joining from Saracens in 2010.

Mogensen, a member of the Saints academy, has been on loan at Cambridge and Moseley while McMillan earned an extended deal having initially arrived at Franklin's Gardens on trial from Birmingham Solihull.

"We need players who can contribute to the squad and this is why we've extended the contracts for all three players," said director of rugby Jim Mallinder.
