Have you got what it takes to be the new Ulster Rugby mascot?

Ulster Rugby are currently on the lookout for someone to fill the bear suit of the club's mascot Sparky.

The club's previous long-serving Sparky hung up his jersey at the end of the season after 18 years of entertaining fans at the Kingspan Stadium.

Ulster have now issued an open call for anyone interested in the role to send an audition video to the club.

"Are you trained in dance, cheerleading or gymnastics? Or are you simply an enthusiastic people-person? If so, we want to hear from you!," an Ulster Rugby spokesperson said.

"Applicants are asked to send a video audition (showcasing your personality and signature moves) to standup@ulsterrugby.com. Videos should be no longer than 60 seconds in length and be sent to us before Monday 25th June.

"A short-list of potential mascots will be invited to perform in front of a panel of judges, including members of the Ulster Rugby squad, on Saturday 30th June.

"Supporters will then have the opportunity to give their opinion on who should be the next Sparky through social media, so stay tuned folks!"
