Dan McFarland will confirm his panel for the Champions Cup opener at lunchtime today with his captain and talisman the last of the Ireland World Cup players to make a provincial return after Jacob Stockdale and Jordi Murphy both started against Munster last weekend.

"It's good to go over and people don't really expect much because you like to prove people wrong," explained lock Alan O'Connor.

"We're going over there as a team and I don't think they'll be expecting much of us, but we're definitely going to play our game, take them on up front as well.

"I think overall we're in a good space as a squad, and a couple of internationals have been added on that."
