Rory Best ruled out of Ulster's Champions Cup trip to Harlequins

Rory Best will miss Ulster's trip to face Harlequins in the Champions Cup on Sunday.

The skipper has been ruled out with a foot infection and so Ulster will instead be captained by Iain Henderson, who returns from international duty alongside Jacob Stcokdale and Rob Herring. All three will start the game at Twickenham Stoop (1pm).

Sean Reidy and Nick Timoney will join skipper Henderson in the back row, with Alan O'Connor and Kieran Treadwell retained in the second row.

Wiehahn Herbst, who missed the recent games against Benetton and Dragons due to a calf injury, is selected in the front row alongside Herring and Callum Black.

John Cooney and Christian Lealiifano will once again combine in the half-back positions, while Stuart McCloskey and Tommy Bowe are retained in midfield.

Stockdale joins Craig Gilroy, who scored a brace of tries last weekend at Rodney Parade, and Charles Piutau in the back three.

Ballymena RFC forwards John Andrew, Andy Warwick, Ross Kane and Matty Rea are named on the bench, along with Chris Henry, Paul Marshall, Peter Nelson and Louis Ludik.
