Ulster head coach Dan McFarland has backed his side to bounce back against Edinburgh in Murrayfield tonight (7.35pm kick-off).

The province have lost back-to-back games, most recently to Glasgow last weekend, and need a win this evening in order to keep their PRO14 play-off push on track.

Barring an unlikely four to two match points split in favour of Edinburgh, any victory for the hosts will see them leapfrog their opponents in the table with only one round remaining after this weekend.

"I certainly think we will be better this week, I have no doubt about that," said McFarland.

"Whether that is good enough to win I don't know. Edinburgh are doing pretty well at the minute, they are a strong team, this game is as important for them as it is for us.

"They are playing at home and they know everything is on the line as far as a play-off is concerned. We have prepped for that."

Ulster have brought Iain Henderson back into their starting line-up after the side's start lock missed the defeat in Glasgow while Stuart McCloskey is also fit to play.
