Ulster prop sidelined for three months as 12 players out injured
Ulster prop Kyle McCall will be out for 12 weeks after undergoing surgery on an injury sustained last week.
The 26-year-old suffered a torn tendon in training and joins a growing injury list at Kingspan Stadium.
Also sitting out Friday evening's game against Edinburgh will be Tom O'Toole, who follows the Return To Play protocols after a concussion sustained in the nail-biting 15-13 success over Scarlets on Saturday.
