Ulster set date for Louis Ludik return from injury

Ulster will begin the season without full-back Louis Ludik.

After Charles Piutau's departure to join Bristol, Ludik will have a key role to play in the province's season.

However, an injury sustained in the final game of last season means he won't feature in the opening weeks.

Ludik tore his hamstring in the Champions Cup play-off against Ospreys, with fears he could be ruled out for a significant period, but he could return in time for Ulster’s trip to the Scarlets on November 23.
