Few are underestimating the challenge that awaits Ireland as they undertake a three-Test, five-game tour of New Zealand. At the end of a long season, and half the world away from home, there is arguably no greater challenge for a touring team.

Each of Ireland’s three victories against the All Blacks, of course, have come either in the Aviva Stadium or a neutral venue.
