Ulster suffer injury blow as Matty Rea misses crunch Glasgow clash

By Gareth Hanna

Ulster will be without Matty Rea for this weekend's crunch clash at home to Glasgow.

Ulster will likely need to win one of their last two Guinness PRO14 fixtures in order to seal a Champions Cup play-off place. That's because Benetton are only a point behind with a home game against Zebre coming up.

Glasgow arrive for the province's final home fixture of the campaign on Saturday evening (kick-off 6.05pm) but Ulster will go into the game without last weekend's Man of the Match.

Number eight Rea has sustained a bump on the leg and Assistant Coach Dwayne Peel confirmed he will miss Saturday's clash and is also a doubt for the following trip to Munster.

Johnny McPhillips, however, will be fit for this weekend's tie after failing a Head Injury Assessment during Friday's victory over Ospreys.
