Debut: Tim Boys will be in action for Ulster Ravens today

Ulster's new signing Tim Boys will get his first taste of action when he lines out for Ulster Ravens against Connacht Eagles in Galway today (kick-off 4.00pm).

The Kiwi openside flanker, who is at the Kingspan Stadium on a short-term deal until the end of the season, arrived in Belfast earlier this week and the 30-year-old Southland player will get an early opportunity to show his worth and stake his claim for inclusion in the senior squad for next week's return to PRO12 action when Ulster host Treviso.

Other notable selections see Peter Nelson at full-back and Ricky Andrew in midfield while Michael Heaney gets a run-out in the unfamiliar position of fly-half with Connor Young wearing the number nine shirt. The side will be skippered by Lewis Stevenson.

Meanwhile, over 9,000 tickets have already been sold for the Kingspan Stadium's hosting of the PRO12 final after only going on sale to the public earlier this week in the wake of Ulster Rugby's advance sale to season ticket holders.

With 2,000 tickets reserved for each of the finalists for the May 30 showdown, it means that there are now just 5,000 seats available to the public.

Tickets, from £22, can be bought from Ticketmaster. All ticket categories are currently available, but only a small number of Premium tickets can still be purchased.

Ulster Ravens V Connacht Eagles: P Nelson; R Adair, R Andrew, J Pentland, A Craig, M Heaney, C Young; K McCall, J Andrew, D Ryan, L Stevenson (capt), N McComb, S Reidy, T Boys, C Butterworth. Replacements: P Jackson, C Trenier, R Murphy, F Taggart, C Joyce, J Bingham, M Best, A Liddell.
