Ulster’s Ospreys clash off

Ulster’s Magners League match against the Ospreys next Friday night at Ravenhill has been postponed.

The Welsh side made the request claiming they don’t have sufficient front row cover to fulfil the fixture and they insisted they had never agreed to the March 19 date as they had already given the players and management leave between March 12 and March 22.

They also added that they had given Ulster three alternative dates which had been rejected.

Celtic Rugby are reviewing the Ospreys' claim of not being able to field suitably experienced front-row players.

In a statement yesterday Celtic Rugby said: “Until Celtic Rugby has had the opportunity to review the matter, there will be no further comment.”
