Allen through to face Trump in quarter-finals in China

Antrim's Mark Allen is through to face Judd Trump in the quarter-finals of the International Championship in China.

Allen sneaked past Martin O'Donnell 6-5 on Wednesday to set up the tie.

It took a comeback victory to do it as Allen had to recover from defeat in all of the opening three frames. He then found himself 5-4 behind and had to win both of the final frames to snatch a dramatic victory.

That added to his heroics against Mark King in the second round when he won the last three frames to secure success.

Allen last came up against Trump last month, when the Englishman came out on top in the quarter-finals of the European Masters.
