Twins Caitlin and Annie McCullough will go head-to-head for the second time in a week as they prepare to do battle in the semi-finals of the Ulster Senior Open at the Boat Club tomorrow night.

Both Windsor players came through their last eight matches with little difficulty last night to set up another showdown after Caitlin drew first blood on the way to retaining her North of Ireland title in Hillsborough last week.

Annie defeated Hilden teenager Isabella Connor 6-1 6-1, while Caitlin beat Downshire player Amber Young without dropping a game.

Caitlin defeated Jessica Leeman in the Hillsborough final and the Hawarden ace kept alive her hopes of a revenge meeting with a straightforward 6-1 6-2 quarter-final win over Omagh's Nikki Hawkes last night.

Leeman will now face Donaghadee player and former Ulster Open champion Lucy Octave in the last four which promises to be another close battle.

Jessica's younger brother Dylan also progressed last night, a hard fought 7-6 6-4 win over Michael Blease, earning the 15-year-old a daunting quarter-final clash with title holder and top seed Jordan McKeown tonight.
