Wimbledon: Andy Murray game a big 'love-in' for Kyrgios

By Eleanor Crooks

Nick Kyrgios joked it was "love at first sight" with Andy Murray but that won't stop him trying to end the home favourite's hopes of a second Wimbledon title.

Murray's meeting with the flashy young Australian will be the most eagerly-anticipated match of today's fourth round.

The pair are good friends and Murray has been one of Kyrgios' most vocal supporters when the 21-year-old has come under fire for his on-court behaviour.

"It's awesome, he backs me up a lot, which is good," said Kyrgios. "It's just good to have one of the best players in the world, to have a good friend like that."

Murray again stood up for Kyrgios following more negative headlines after he earned a code violation during his win over Dustin Brown.

"It happens a lot where it doesn't seem like he's really done much in comparison to what other players are doing, and he's the one that gets asked all the questions about it," said Murray.
