Ulster booked their place in the PRO14 play-offs with a game to spare thanks to a bonus-point win over Edinburgh in Murrayfield.

The province ran out 29-7 winners in the Scottish capital with Jordi Murphy, Rob Baloucoune, Rob Lyttle and Billy Burns scoring the tries.

It was a fine team performance from the visitors, with Iain Henderson earning man of the match honours on his return to the side.

With Benetton losing at home to Munster, the win was good enough to secure second place in Conference B meaning the first round play-off game will be at Kingspan Stadium.

Should Connacht beat Cardiff on Saturday, that game will see the western province heading to Belfast.
