A convicted UVF killer has been charged with the sickening murder of a pretty Catholic teenager almost 40-years ago.
Bobby Rodgers was arrested by Historical Enquires Team (HET) detectives at his home in the loyalist Donegall Road area of Belfast on Tuesday.
The 57-year-old was brought to Antrim Serious Crime Suite and charged with the September 1973 murder of 19-year-old Eileen Doherty.
Rodgers previously served 15 years behind bars for the 1974 murder of a young Catholic man.
He was freed on police bail over the Doherty case last week but will have to appear at Belfast Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
