Best pal bit my nose off

A vicious Irish League footballer is facing jail after he bit off part of his best mate’s nose in a frenzied booze-fuelled attack.

Deranged Daley Carnduff — who now plays for Bangor — sank his teeth into Andy Smyth’s face during a petty dispute over a flat they shared.

The midfielder, 21, launched the brutal assault even though Andy is godfather to Carnduff’s daughter. And his crazed “cannibal” attack came the same night Andy’s granddad died.
