Boyce is the man to steady IFA's ship
Genial Jim Boyce could have been walking down Royal Avenue as he, and wife Hazel, took the sea air along the picturesque promenade at St Helier in Jersey last week.
Wellwishing holidaymakers from home constantly greeted the instantly recognisable former Irish FA President, a popular and high profile figure still, three years after the regime currently in its death throes, engineered his removal. What goes around comes around.
And while Boyce walked away with dignity, realising his time was up, those who ousted him now belatedly head for the Windsor Avenue door with only public and Governmental condemnation ringing in their ears.
