Portadown came back from the dead yesterday to win their first major hockey trophy in eight seasons.
The Co Armagh team collected the Linden Cup for the fourth time in their short history after getting the better of Cliftonville in the most nervy of penalty shoot-outs at Mossley.
The victory was sealed 2-1 on strokes after a dramatic 1-1 draw in normal time.
